Recycled flowers

We are making cool flowers out of plastic bottle bottoms.

We had to cut the plastic to look like petals and bend them back then paint them. Once they were dry we could use paint or pastel to add more detail and add a bottle lid or button for the centre of the flower.

They look amazing!

Week 6

Busy busy singing, dancing and practicing lines! The production is getting close and it is very exciting.

We had Daffodil day on Friday, our room was very bright with all the yellow clothes. Thank you for all of your donations.

Week 5

The term is flying by, week 5 is over and production is nearing! We are practicing everyday in class, this is the link to the dance for the children to practice at home.

Today there was a talent contest during Lunch time and Eden sang a song and Sarah played the piano
 - both girls won there sections, CONGRATULATIONS to you both.

Recycling

Week 4

Production is coming along, Matai are now practicing our dance. Remember to start gathering black pants, plain bright top and cap to bring to school. At the warehouse there are plain tops on sale and caps $4, if you don't have any at home.

We have been working hard on narrative writing and have written some awesome stories, using exciting adjectives!
We have finished off our winter art - they look fantasfic!

It's maths week. We are enjoying completely math tasks in class. You can go onto the following web site to do maths games etc at home.

week 4

Please welcome Mark to Matai this week.

We watched "Eddie the Penguin saves the world" today. We brainstormed our part in the production and will send a note home soon to let you know what we need.

 We are learning and practicing how to skip. It was very cold outside today, the skipping kept us super warm!
